This is such an exciting time, full of love and joy and offers tremendous scope for a bespoke celebration.

Let’s add a sprinkle of magic and wonder and any quirkiness that is you.

Location

Celebrant led ceremonies can be held wherever you wish, so you have great freedom. There are several fantastic venues for hire across Yorkshire such as a barn, tipi or grand hotel. There are too some amazing historic settings and halls, steeped in history. Alternatively, you may choose to nestle under a gazebo in your garden, settle on the windswept beaches, even dipping your toes in the sea – the Yorkshire coast has so much to offer.

Then there are the rolling green fields in the Dales, a wooded glade in the Wolds, or a spot on the riverbanks of The Ouse in York. Indoors or out in nature, licensed or unlicensed, anything is possible, just choose what makes your heart sing.

Your ceremony

Your celebrant ceremony can be part of a big bonanza or an intimate affair. Maybe you fancy gathering all your friends and family and having a big ol’ do? Alternatively, this may feel too much, and a cosy group or intimate elopement may suit you better. You choose and together we will sprinkle the magic to make it a wondrous occasion.

You will be able to savour each and every moment. There will be no time pressure or tight time slot, as I will work with you about the best timing for your ceremony on the day. I only ever book in one ceremony a day… or night. You can choose whatever time you want. Imagine the glorious light of a ceremony at dusk, in the moonlight with the stars, or at the freshness of sunrise. The world is your oyster.

Vows and pledges

The ceremony is at the core so we will make sure you radiate throughout. You may wish to include vows, if so forget any dusty templates or ‘off the shelf’ platitudes I can help you to really personalise these, without time or legal constraints. This is a chance to communicate what is deep in your heart: your vows, your day, uniting you and your loved ones for the next exciting chapter of your lives together.
